When I say you to imagine a blue-green crystal clear water place , which place comes in front of your eyes? Bali? Maldives ? If your answers are yes then you are missing a place which is in Our India. Yes!! That too in Maharashtra.Yes, You read it absolutely correct! I am writing my this story about #CrazyUS’s recent Trek to Devkund Waterfall ❤ which in a remote village Bhira, near Bhira Dam, Maharashtra.
They Say its a hidden place ! Not much known and not much explored by people. If you are a Trekker and nature lover then you must visit this place at least once in a life. Its Crystal Clear Blue Green water definitely make you fall in love with it ❤
We Started from Kharadi, Pune in the early morning.
We had breakfast on the way and moved towards our pretty destination. Passing on Tamhini Ghat in monsoons is cherry on Cake thing! The journey itself was so amazing that we could not resist the urge to come out of Car’s window and let that crazy wind play with us !
It took almost three hours to reach base village , Bhira. A very beautiful village welcomed us with beautiful nature. Devkund waterfall is inside lush green forest. It was almost two hours trek. Which included walking through dark forest, crossing two rivers (luckily the rivers had no much water so we could cross them easily) and climbing few rocks!
On the way there are some beautiful places where you can sit near dam water and experience the peace ! Where you can think about those beautiful memories of your life !!
The Forest gives you the feel of vastness of nature. Tall Trees tell you stories of their times and birds singing on those trees let you relax with their sweet voice. The Darkness of the forest reminds you about the storms you face in your life but those little warm sun rays looking down to you reminds you about the little happiness you get !
The journey or trek was worth to get that first mesmerizing look of Devkund!
A waterfall is the origin of Kundalika river. After looking at this paradise we could not resist the urge to play in water like a kid 🙂 Getting drenched in a waterfall is the craziest thing ever! and CrazyUS never say to craziness! They got drenched in waterfall , danced in it and yes screamed loudly that the happiness echoed to all the corners!
After enjoying time below waterfall and making loads of memories we started descend trek to Bhira. At one place local villagers have set up small food stalls to avail snacks to tourists . We had delicious bhajjis, vada–pav and tea.
Devkund ‘s Blue Green Water and those peaceful minutes spent looking at it , was the best part of this trip! We are truly blessed to have this place on our earth which gives us glimpse of Heaven ❤
With Loads of happy memories and beautiful experience we started our journey back to Pune !
